Framing Joiner - strong accurate joints and no need for clamps!

The Enlock Dovetail Framing Joiner has been designed for use in all types of framing applications. It provides an accurate, strong and long lasting joint without the use of nails or screws.

This is the first framing joiner of its kind to actually provide a strong clamping force across the joint. The joiner can be used with adhesives if required, making strong permanent joints that don't require glue-up clamping.

Not having to clamp joints during gluing offers substantial savings in production time and infrastructure giving increased production capacity.

The Enlock framing joiner's flexibility and ease of use makes is very suitable for the manufacture of cabinetry and RTA (Ready to Assemble) furniture.

The joiner has two components; the dovetail key and the cap plate. When the pins on the under side of the cap plate are inserted into the key, the dovetails expand, aligning and clamping the joint together.

The cap plate may be embossed with your company logo and made from a variety of materials to further expand your design options.

The framing keys are currently available in three different sizes depending on the application. Further development has resulted in a range of new products with many applications for short and long joints. These products are now protected by world wide patents. Enlock joiners are versatile, easy to use and suitable for use in a wide range of materials. Standard products may be adapted or modified for special applications on request.
