The Enlock Longitudinal Joiner produces a structurally strong longitudinal joint which perfectly aligns and seals the two modules. The joiners are easy to use, cost effective and suitable for a wide range of applications in the joining together of two or more components made from almost any material.
Enlock consists of a P.V.C. joiner strip with specially designed tabs at regular intervals along its length. An "expander pin" is clipped into the joiner strip which is then pushed into pre-machined slots in the two components to be joined. By inserting a coarse thread screw into the end of the joiner, the expanded sections on the pin force the tabs down for the entire length of the joiner effecting a strong longitudinal, fully sealed joint.
There is no other joining system available in the world today that effects a fully clamped longitudinal joint with the turn of a screw. The joint may be "uncramped" by reversing the direction of the pin.
The Enlock joining system has many obvious applications from modular windows and wall construction to K.D.C. furniture and flooring systems. There are also many more applications in the automotive and marine industries. In fact Enlock can be used in any application which requires a cost effective, quick, fully sealed and cramped longitudinal joint.
The fact that Enlock can be reversed makes it ideal for temporary buildings and display modules such as those used in trade shows.
With building systems around the world increasingly turning to a modular or pre-fabricated format, there is a growing list of applications for this unique and effective technology.
